2021 Chevy Spark Review
Sometimes, all you really need is a lightweight companion to help you go about your day in Indianapolis, Fishers, and Speedway, IN. After all, fitting into that elusive parking spot near your favorite restaurant is much easier when you have a smaller ride.
Easy on the eyes and the gas tank, the Chevrolet Spark piques your interest with its vibrant color options, and sells you with its strong fuel efficiency; small, yet comfortable design inside and out; and a built-in Wi-Fi® hotspot.
We here at Andy Mohr Speedway Chevrolet feel we have the perfect car for you, but don’t just take our word for it. We’ll let the car do the talking.
Chevrolet Spark: It Won’t Run Out of Steam
The 2021 Spark offers two similar fuel economies, depending on the trim you’re interested in. The manual transmission models run an EPA-estimated 29 city/38 highway MPG, while the Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) models sport an EPA-estimated 30 city/38 highway MPG.
In addition to the spacious gas tank is a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with 98 horsepower for the open road. The base model comes standard with the manual transmission, but you may want to consider upgrading to a CVT if that’s more your speed.
Compact, Colorful & Clever
With colors like Cayenne Orange and Passion Fruit, the 2021 Spark offers variety not just in color selection, but trim levels too. Three of the trims offered by Chevy—the LS, 1LT, and 2LT—are suited for casual drives, while a fourth trim, the ACTIV, is catered toward those who want to take the hatchback out for a tussle with unpaved terrain.
Its headlights set on long-term travel, the Chevy Spark is eager to keep you cozy on the inside too. Alongside an interior which features color-coordinated accent stripes—like Mosaic Black, Silver Ice Metallic, and Caribbean Blue—and some handy storage hooks, there’s 11.1 cubic feet of cargo room with the rear seats up, and 27.2 cubic feet of cargo room with the rear seats down.
2021 Chevy Spark Technology & Safety
Coming standard in each trim of the 2021 Spark is a thoughtful infotainment system, which includes a built-in Wi-Fi® hotspot with 4G LTE data available, two USB ports, as well as Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility.
Keeping true to its word to protect you on the go, the 2021 Spark also boasts numerous advanced safety features, including Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Park Assist, and Automatic Emergency Braking.
In addition, Chevy offers Connected Services to enhance their safety and technological features. There are three advanced optional services you can choose from:
