Chevy Volt Maintenance Schedule

Chevy Volt

Part of owning a brand-new car and ensuring that it lasts means keeping up with regularly scheduled auto maintenance appointments. These mileage points, set forth by the manufacturer, are designated milestones in which your Chevrolet Volt should be seen by a service technician in the Indianapolis, Fishers, or Speedway area.

At Andy Mohr Speedway Chevy, we want to help you keep your car on the road as long as possible, and this means meeting your service deadlines. At our service center, we can perform all of these maintenance checks and help you sustain the life of your Volt.

Schedule Service

RECOMMENDED SERVICE POINTS Chevy tires

  • 7,500 miles – During this appointment, your service tech will perform an oil change and a tire rotation. Also, during this service there will be a visual inspection conducted to ensure there are no fluid leaks and that there are no problems with your brakes or hoses.
  • 15,000 miles – In addition to the expected oil change and tire rotation, your tech may want to replace your engine air filter and your cabin air filter depending upon their condition. He will also listen to make sure there are no suspicious noises coming from your vehicle that may indicate a larger problem.
  • 22,500 miles – At this point, your tech will be performing the same routine service you’ve come to expect, but the service center will also check to make sure your brake pads and tires are in good condition. If they need replacement, they will conduct this service as well.
  • 30,000 miles – This service might as well be called the fluid appointment. Your service professional may replace the coolant, the brake fluid, and the transmission fluid, while your car is being checked out. Additionally, your spark plugs will be checked and replaced if necessary. If your tires and brake pads made it through the last round of maintenance, they will be checked again.
  • 37,500 miles – Once again, your hoses, fluids, brakes, tires, and belts will be checked. At this point, it is not unusual for one or more of these items to require replacement. Your service technician will walk you through any necessary repairs he needs to perform. Otherwise, he will do an oil change, a tire rotation, and a visual inspection.
