One last note before we get started: Each trim level builds on the one before it. In other words, we’re starting with the most basic Chevy Trax and ending with the most well-equipped model.

 

Chevy Trax S

Even at the lowest trim level, the Chevy Trax offers a 7-inch touchscreen display for all your infotainment needs. This system allows you to stream Bluetooth® audio from your compatible smartphone through the SUV’s 6-speaker sound system. You can also use it to take advantage of Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and a Rear Vision Camera.

The Trax LS also offers 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot capability. However, you’ll have to get a data plan to be able to use this feature.

As far as design goes, this model uses halogen reflector headlamps and sculpted taillamps to improve nighttime visibility. Inside, the cloth seats are available in Jet Black or Light Ash Gray with Jet Black Accents.

 

Chevy Trax LT

The Chevy Trax LT offers some nice convenience upgrades to make your life easier. For instance, remote start allows you to warm up your vehicle before getting in on cold winter days. Once you’re on the open road, cruise control prevents you from needing to worry about your speed on the highway. Other added features include:

• A 3-month SiriusXM® Radio trial subscription
• Heated outside mirrors
• Front passenger under-seat storage
• A 110-volt power outlet

You’ll find a few design upgrades in the LT, as well. Halogen projector-beam headlamps illuminate the road ahead, while LED daytime running lights and taillamps make your vehicle hard to miss. Details like chrome beltline molding and roof-mounted side rails add a nice finishing touch.

Inside, the seats get upgraded to a deluxe cloth trim in your choice of Jet Black, Brandy Deluxe, or Light Ash Gray. Additional options are available with upgrade packages at the LT trim level.

 

Chevy Trax Premier

At its highest trim level, the Chevy Trax offers the convenience of Keyless Open and Start—so you don’t have to spend time fishing a key out of your pocket. You can also enjoy the comfort of heated front seats while listening to music with the Bose® 7-speaker premium audio system.

The Chevy Trax Premier also provides a slew of driver-assistance technologies that can act as an extra set of eyes on the road. This includes the following features:

• Forward Collision Alert
• Lane Departure Warning
• Rear Park Assist
• Side Blind Zone Alert
• Rear Cross Traffic Alert

When it comes to style, the Premier trim level offers chrome accents on the door handles and liftgate appliqué. Interior upgrades include a power sunroof and leatherette seat trim, which you can get in Jet Black, Light Ash Gray, or Brandy.
